The holiday house is placed only 400 metres from the beach at Denmark's north-east coast.
The lovely Bisnap beach is within walking distance and is one of the most child-friendly beaches in Northern Europe.
The beach is traffic-free and the waves are generally smaller than at the west coast. The beaches slope slightly, so the children will be safe on the beach and in the water. The sand is fine, light and clean, and there is a "Blue Flag".*
Fishing water and fishing lakes
There are good opportunities of catching your own dinner. With a regular fishing card, which can be purchased at the post office, fishing is allowed at sea or from e.g. the moles. You can a.o. fish mackerel, herring and garfish. There are also several beautiful fishing lakes.
*Blue Flag on a beach means that the bathing water quality is good.
